The Clause 49 is basically a match maker between a director aspirant and the corporate. The listing facilities provided on this online service gives an opportunity to the prospective director to register all the relevant personal details with major emphasis on qualification, experience, expertise in the relevant field.

The registration once recieved is screened by the professional screening committee and the details thereafter are put before the selection board headed by Mr. G.P. Gupta
former chairman of IDBI. The selection board based on certain predefined criterion then clears the registration for final listing to be showcased for the corporates. In case the selection board so desires, the candidate can be invited for personal interview or details may be sought through e-mail.
